Bedrock Wind Energy Centre
Bedrock Wind Energy Centre
The Bedrock Wind Energy Centre is a proposed 15-20 turbine wind energy project located in Iroquois Falls (Treaty 9 territory) that will generate homegrown energy to meet Ontario's growing demand for cleaner, more affordable, reliable electricity, while creating jobs and investing in the local region.
Bedrock Wind Community Open House - Event Cancelled
On September 8, 2025, the Town Council of Iroquois Falls voted in favour of a motion to declare the municipality an unwilling host for the Bedrock Wind project. As a result, the September 19th Community Open House and BBQ has been cancelled. Invenergy remains open to future opportunities in the region.
